Dr Michelle Wilson
BSc (Hons.). PGCert. DClinPsy. Fellow of Higher Education Academy
Michelle is a Clinical Psychologist, lecturer and researcher, specialising in compassion-informed approaches, physical health and wellbeing in organisations. Alongside her role at Space 2 Connect, she works at University College London (UCL) on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology programme where she trains people to be clinical psychologists. She is a Senior Clinical Tutor and Senior Admissions Tutor, and has led on a number of major projects developing effective processes for assessing competence and selection procedures, to ensure the highest quality of training is delivered. Michelle has developed and established a reflective practice programme at UCL, supporting trainees and facilitators developing skills to manage and learn from the complex environments they work in, to enhance practice.
Michelle also teaches on several mental health professional training courses across the country and has delivered talks and training in a number of organisations. She is currently leading a programme of research focused on embedding compassion into professional training courses, aimed at enhancing wellbeing, reducing stress and improving engagement in assessments and skills development.
Michelle has over 12 years experience working in a several NHS services, including those which focus on the links between mental health and physical health. These include Adult Mental Health, Obesity, Specialist Wound Care and Lymphoedema, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dermatology and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Eating Disorders services. She has a special interest in Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Dr Jill Domoney

Jill is a Clinical Psychologist, yoga teacher and researcher, specialising in the links between mental health, stress and the body. Alongside her role at Space 2 Connect, Jill holds a number of other positions as a trainer, coach, therapist and researcher. Jill is a research associate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London where she works to develop and evaluate mental health services in England, using implementation science techniques to embed new processes and support staff to achieve organisational goals. She has published peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on topics around mental health service development, assessment and intervention.
Jill provides talks, workshops and training for diverse audiences including third sector organisations and mental health teams, supporting them to deliver effective, specialist interventions, whilst meeting organisational and national targets. She also provides consultation on using psychology in the workplace to create safer, more compassionate work environments.
She has worked in NHS perinatal mental health services across London, including providing training and consultation for health professionals and designing and developing interventions. She has also contributed to writing national guidance for service delivery, helping to shape the structure of these services, ensuring they align with both client and population level needs.
Jill has a special interest in mind-body practices. In 2021 she founded The Yoga Psychology Centre, offering talking therapy, private yoga, and group classes in South West London.
